Thank you to everyone who purchased bricks for Trestle View Park. There are more than 600 engraved bricks around the wheel and along the paths in the park. It’s an amazing show of support from the people of Franklin and all who love the park.

The Winnipesaukee River Trail is a beautiful 5.1 mile multi-use pedestrian trail that connects the communities of Tilton, Northfield and Franklin. The trail follows the old railroad line and is a peaceful and scenic experience – except for a small stretch that requires people to deal with sidewalks and traffic in Tilton.
To improve that stretch of trail, we are going to build the “Missing Link Bridge” that will connect the trail across the Winnipesaukee River from the end of Granite St in Northfield to a spot near the old Ernie’s used cars on Rte 3 in Tilton. We need your help to do that.
We received a grant to help with the cost of the bridge, but we need to raise in excess of $130,000 in matching funds to complete the bridge and insure future maintenance. Won’t you help us reach our Missing Link Bridge Goal by the end of June? Every donation helps.
